Game Description

You awake in a dark forest. Fog covers everything like a heavy blanket. Senseless and unaware of your situation, you wander further. Feeling more lost than before. The silence is deafening. With no wind the fog is still, no sway of trees or leaves.

Traverse through the dark world to uncover the mysteries of your condition and defeat concealed enemies. Chop down trees, stone, enemies and anything that stand in your path or maybe play it safe and use cover to your advantage by strategically.

To find the Broken Party, you must be a smarty. Find the first of the seven elements, that consists of a triple four. For that development, you must have control of the A. Hover over my name and I shall say. From there you must find your own way, good luck!

How it was made


The game engine used was Godot. This is because of the efficient 2D aspect of the engine which is perfect for the top-down pixel of this Happy Fox. The engine uses a custom language of GDScript which is similar to Python.


I used Aseprite to create the pixel art for the game. Aseprite allows for easy pixel art creation and editing. 1/3 of the sprites were made by HeartBeast however all were changed to fit the mood and theme of Happy Fox


For sound design I utilized Adobe Audition. This allowed me to tweak timing and the levels of each sound effect. Godot allowed me to edit pitch and speed of audios aswell. Audio allowed for a more understandable game experience
